Reading have released their latest home kit for the upcoming 2022/23 season.
Revealed to the public on Monday, July 25, the shirt has kept its traditional blue and white hoops but has added a unique pattern to its sleeves, which represents how the climate of Reading has changed over the previous decades.

Partnered with the University of Reading, the latest jersey has been created with recycled bottles making the kit environmentally friendly.

Professor Ed Hawkins from the University of Reading said: “The climate stripes are intended to start conversations about climate change - and making them visible to thousands of football fans across the country every week brings that to a new audience.
