Reading Winter Wonderland has announced the date of its 2022 grand opening.
The attraction will open its doors on November 12 in Hills Meadow and run until January 2, 2023.
The Real Ice Rink is promised to be bigger than last year and a ‘huge’ German Bar will be making its first appearance,
Live bands are set to play throughout the day followed by regular party nights with local DJs.
You can try German beer, cocktails, mulled wine, hot chocolate with Baileys or brandy, marshmallows toasted on the open fire or barista coffee the Bar.
A spokesperson for the event wrote on Facebook: “With the cost of living a worry for everyone, although our expenses have gone astronomical, we have kept most of our prices the same as last year and we are also offering a 20 per cent early bird discount on all tickets.
“Bigger discounts on group bookings and new for this year we are offering season passes that can be used every day.
“Keeping all food and drink outlet prices low so family and friends can enjoy their Christmas festivity day out.”
Look out for the Grinch, Frozen characters, Ice Queen stilt walkers, fire-breathers, Mother Christmas, singing elves and Christmas Fairies.
Residents will also be treated to a visit from Santa’s real reindeers, alongside his Grotto with gifts for the children.
