A blaze erupted in Red Cottage Drive, Calcot, at around 2am this morning, destroying several homes.

"Anyone who has been displaced has been urged to head to the Calcot Infant School, which was being set up as a triage centre. If anyone has anything they can donate I am sure they can be dropped off here for now."
Thames Valley Police have advised anyone arriving at the triage centre to tell organisers what property you are from, whether your vehicle remains on Red Cottage Drive, any medication required and any pets left at home address."
A resident impacted by the fire who has organised a second fundraiser wrote: "Our estate has been evacuated due to a house fire that spread amongst our houses. A lot of us stand here in our nightwear and some have lost everything."
So far £225 has been raised across both pages.
