Three people cornered a man eating at Newbury McDonald's and one punched him off his chair.
The victim, a man in his twenties, suffered a black eye from the assault on July 16, which took place at 8.17pm in Northbrook Street.
Police are searching for a man and two women that officers believe may have vital information regarding the assault.
The victim was sat at a table eating when three offenders approached him.
Following a verbal altercation, one offender punched him in the face causing him to fall backwards off the chair.

Investigating officer, PS Richard Tarrant, based at Newbury police station, said: “We would like to appeal to anybody who recognises the individuals in this image to please get in touch.
