Reading boss Paul Ince admits that his team face a difficult test against newly-promoted Rotherham United on Saturday, with the Millers having played a game less.
While the Royals were beating Cardiff City last week, Paul Warne's side were awaiting the verdict of a pitch inspection at the Coventry Building Society Arena after the pitch was torn up during the Commonwealth Games.
Deemed unplayable, the majority of the Yorkshire sides players have gone over a week without action, some beating Port Vale in the Carabao Cup in midweek.

Speaking to the media ahead of the trip to the New York Stadium, Ince was unsure.
"It can work one of two ways," he explained. "They could come back fresh, or they could need that game, but they’ve had enough time tor rest. It’s a tough place to go to, they’ve made the pitch shorter and tighter, they like to press high, they will cause teams problems. Paul Warne has done a fantastic job. We are going there with what we’ve got, positive after the Cardiff job and see where it takes us."
With an injury crisis ongoing in Berkshire, Ovie Ejaria the latest to add his name to the list, being out for three to four weeks at least, the former England captain only has '11 or 12 first team players' left to choose from.

"We’ve got what we’ve got. It’s no different to Cardiff, we just had to be careful with the players the last couple of days as we can’t afford any more injuries, we’ve probably got 11-12 first team players at the moment. It’s been good, we’ve got them on the ground doing some preparation, but it’s more or less walking through things. We go again."
