Enter Shikari’s set was cut short yesterday after calling people out for ‘dumping sewage in our rivers’.
Many angry revellers thought that the unusual timing was an ‘act of censorship’ on the festivals part to silence the singer’s passionate monologue.
Rou Reynolds, the frontman for the band assured fans on his twitter page that it was a ‘power outage at front-of-house’.
Just to clarify everyone - it wasn’t an act of censorship, it was a power outage at front-of-house.

A festival goer who caught the whole set on his camera posted the performance on his Twitter page.
During the set, he spoke passionately about his views on water pollution, berating 'polluting' water companies who are ‘exploiting are rivers and coastlines’.
Reynolds was able to finish his set for thousands of festival goers after the power was re-connected moments later.
After the power was turned back on, he said: “How about these water companies spend more money on infrastructure and stop exploiting and poisoning our rivers, coastlines and eco systems.

“And how about our conservative government. They’re called conservatives how about they conserve something that isn’t their own d*** profits.
“So, lets send a message to Thames Water and all those water companies.”
Rou added, on his Twitter thread this afternoon (28/8): “Regardless of the power cut pause, I still got to berate Thames Water & other polluting water companies in front of thousands of people, + thousands more watching back on BBC.”
