BRIGHT colours, creative costumes, and fabulous flags have covered every corner of the town centre for the return of Reading Pride this weekend.

Crowds have turned out for the event taking place today, starting with the Love Unites parade through the town centre parade leading revellers on to King's Meadow.

Music is blaring, performers are taking over the stage, and crowds are enjoying a host of fun and games.

Groups, organisations and individuals have come together to show their support for both Pride and the ongoing campaign for equality, and with it a host of fun including three stages of music and performances, a funfair, family area, food and drink, and market stalls.

As always many revellers have gone all out with their creative costumes and flags and pictures have captured the many great moments.

Reading Pride will run into the evening at King's Meadow with one of the main events being former Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle who will headlining the day on stage at 6.35pm.

The festival is free to head along, however donations on your way out are welcomed.
