The following cases were heard at Reading and Slough Magistrates’ Courts:

August 22

ISHTIAK MALIK, 48, of Bentley Road, Slough, convicted of failing to give information relating to the driver or rider of a vehicle when asked by police in Kidlington on January 20, 2022. Fined £350. Also ordered to pay £35 victim surcharge and £300 court costs. Six points added to licence.

DARREN BROWN, 42, of North Way in Newbury, admitted failing to comply with supervision requirements following release from prison. fined 375 and ordered to pay £75 court costs.

ROBERT BLACK, 53, of Parson Close, Newbury, admitted failing to comply with requirements of a community order by not attending planned appointments on July 6, 2022, and July 13, 2022. Community order varied and ordered to pay £60 court costs.

JOEL MOSELEY, 40, of Leighfield, Reading, admitted failing to comply with requirements of a community order by not attending unpaid work on July 10, 2022, and July 17, 2022. Ordered to pay £60 court costs.

JOSEPH CLIFFORD, 27, of Sheepcote Road, Eton Wick, admitted failing to comply with supervision requirements by not attending appointments on July 12, 2022, July 19, 2022, and July 26, 2022. Fined £250 and ordered to pay £60 court costs.

TRANAE ROMEO, 19, of Lyndhurst Road, Reading, admitted failing to comply with community requirements of a suspended sentence by not attending appointments on July 29, 2022, August 5, 2022, and August 9, 2022. Suspended sentence imposed of the original offence of possession of a knife/ blade. Sentenced to 18 weeks in prison suspended for 18 months including rehabilitation and unpaid work requirements. Also ordered to pay £60 court costs.

August 23

TAFADZWA MUJURU, 36, of Huntingdon Place, Slough, admitted driving a vehicle while disqualified in Deansgate Road, Reading on July 14, 2021. Fined £170. Also ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £100 court costs. Six points added to driving licence.

August 24

INTIKHAB ALAM, 45, of Body Road, Reading, convicted of spitting in to a marked police vehicle at Reading Station on January 10, 2022. Also convicted of common assault of an emergency worker on the same occasion and using threatening or abusive words or behaviour to cause harassment or distress at Reading Station on January 10 - found to have been both racially and religiously aggravated. Also admitted failing to surrender to custody on July 21, 2022, in Reading. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation activity and 120 hours of unpaid work. Also ordered to pay £95 victim surcharge. Fined £150.

AARON BALLARD, 31, of King street, Maidenhead, admitted failing to comply with supervision requirements after being released from prison by not attending appointments on June 27, 2022, July 4, 2022, and July 11, 2022. Sentenced to seven days in prison. August 25 Sofia Khan, 21, of Garrard road, Slough, admitted speeding in Forest Road, Winkfield on November 5, 2021. Found to be travelling at 58mph in a 30 mph zone. fined £200 . Also ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months due to repeat offending.
