A 49-year-old driver from Thatcham has been fined more than £1,000 for breaking a 40mph speed limit.
Nicholas Harvey Piers Brennan, of Westfield Road, drove an Alfa Romeo faster than a temporary speed restriction on the A361 Borners Bridge in South Molton on November 5, 2021.

On September 12, 2022, at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court, Brennan was fined £1,018 and ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £102.
Brennan must also pay £90 in costs and he was given six points on his licence.
The total amount, £1,210, is due by October 9, 2022.
