Reading have revealed a new all-black third strip to wear this season.
The first time in more than five years that the Royals will have a third option of a kit on matchday, this Macron product continues along the theme of helping the planet.
Both home and away shirts caught the eye with Reading University's 'climate stripes' which represented the increasing temperatures in the town since the club's formation 151 years ago.

We're delighted to reveal our third kit for 2022-23!
⚫ A sublimated black melange pattern, and anthracite black Reading FC crest and @MacronSports Hero. 🤩
Available immediately from our Fanstore! 🛒
Despite not showcasing those on the alternative kit, it is made 100 per cent of recycled plastic bottles.
Already available in the club shop and online, no doubt it will prove popular with Royal supporters this season.
Many were left disappointed last campaign, with 150th anniversary shirts selling out in record time.
Most home shirts were out of stock by Christmas and the yellow shirt-harking back to the 1988 Simod Cup win- also proved incredibly popular.
