Reading boss Paul Ince confirmed that former Chelsea defender Michael Hector has been training with the club ahead of a potential move.
The Reading Chronicle broke the news yesterday (29/9) that the Royals Academy product, who originally left Berkshire in 2016 to join the European giants, took part in a behind-closed doors friendly and is eyeing up a possible return.

Speaking to the media ahead of the clash with Huddersfield Town, the former England captain admitted: "We had Michael Hector come in last week - he played in the friendly with Brentford and did a bit of training. We'll see where we go with that.
"Mark Bowen will speak with Hector's dad, who is his agent, and we'll see what happens."
However, remaining cool on the links, Ince stated that it could be a case that we have to stick with what they've got.
The club remains under tight Football League restrictions for past misdemeanors, and wiggle room remains small.
Concluding conversation on the topic, he said: "I think that's it now, we'll go with what we've got."
With the centre-back a free agent after being released by Fulham over the summer, Reading- or any other club- are able to sign the 30-year-old at any time.
