A man was rushed to hospital following an attack outside Reading train station.
On Sunday, October 2 around 2:20am, the victim in his 40’s was pushed to ground by a man whilst waiting for a taxi in Station Road.
After hitting his head on the ground during the attack, he sustained head injuries and remains in hospital receiving treatment.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Jake Newton, based at Reading police station, said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have information about what happened to please come forward.

The offender has been described as a white man, of medium build with short brown hair and wearing a checked shirt and jeans at the time of the attack.
Detective Newton added: “Anyone with information can contact Thames Valley Police by calling 101 or making a report online, quoting reference 43220441445.
“Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or online.”
