Norwich City captain Grant Hanley felt it was a good result in the 1-1 draw with Reading on Tuesday.
The Scotland international opened the scoring in the 50th minute- against the run of play as the hosts had much the better openings, especially in the first half.
However, the Canaries could only hold onto the lead for 10 minutes before Jeff Hendrick's effort brought the teams level.
Dean Smith's side huffed and puffed by Reading held firm to maintain their unbeaten run at three matches.
Speaking after the game, Hanley felt no negative reaction was needed and felt it was a positive result.
"It was always going to be a difficult game," he said. "Coming here and getting a point against a team that are up near the top of the table and in-form is not a bad result.
"They showed us a lot of respect in terms of possession. We would probably say it was the opposite to Saturday where we struggled in the build-up but were dangerous when we got into their half. But, it felt like tonight we were quite comfortable with the ball at the back but when we got into the final third, that's where we struggled.
"Overall, we're disappointed not to come away with three points, especially being in front but it's not the worst result in the world and we've got another chance on Saturday to back it up at home."
