Police have released a CCTV image of a man after an elderly woman's purse was stolen outside Tesco Extra.
The incident occurred on Thursday, September 29 around 11 am the victim in her eighties was loading the shopping into her car on Portman Road, Reading.
After the offender took her purse, he proceeded to spend around £1,500 using her bank card.

Investigating officer, Sergeant Elizabeth Palmer, based at Reading Police Station, said: “We would like to appeal to anybody who recognises the man in this image to please get in touch, as he may have vital information about this incident.
“You can get in touch by either making a report online or by calling 101 quoting reference number 43220437533.
“Alternatively, for 100% anonymity, you can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
