A man was assaulted by two other men in a Newbury alleway.
The offenders grabbed him but he was able to struggle free and run from the street between Glendale Avenue and Wash Common Park.
The incident occurred between 3.30am and 5am on Sunday.
One of the offenders is described as a white man, between 5ft10ins and 6ft tall, of skinny build.

He had ginger hair and was wearing dark clothing, including something covering the bottom half of his face.
The second offender was also a white man, wearing dark clothing and was the shorter of the two offenders.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Nicholas Wilkinson, based at Newbury police station, said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or who has information about what happened, to please come forward.
“Anyone with information can make a report online or by calling 101. Please quote reference 43220476671.
“Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or online.”
