Police are hunting for a man who assaulted another man in Oxford Road yesterday (October 25).
Officers found the victim with a wound to his face at 1.15pm and he was rushed to hospital.
His injuries are not believed to be life threatening or life changing.
Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an assault in Reading.
The offender is described as a white man, with short dark hair, wearing blue jeans and a light and dark camouflaged jacket.

Investigating officer Detective Sergeant James Jackson, of Force CID based in Reading, said: “We are appealing for the public’s help in investigating this incident.
“We would ask anyone who was driving along the Oxford Road at around 1.15pm today and has dashcam footage to please come forward.

“Additionally, we would ask anyone with CCTV footage to please check it and get in touch if it shows something relevant.
“Anyone with footage can upload it to our online portal page or if you have information you can call 101 quoting reference 43220480220.
“Members of the public may see an increased police presence in the area while we continue our enquiries.”
