Former Reading defender Liam Rosenior is rumoured to be a target for Hull City as their new manager.
The 38-year-old recently left his post with League One Derby County as the Rams opted for Paul Warne, meaning the former full-back is on the look-out for a new position.
Playing for the Royals from 2007 until 2010, making almost 75 appearances, the highly-rated young boss had a five-year association with Hull City as a player.
Making over 150 appearances and reaching an FA Cup Final, he ended his playing days with Brighton in 2018.
According to respected journalist Alan Nixon, the former England youth international has had talked with the Tigers and the club have him as first choice to replace Shota Arveladze- who left in September.
Potentially being in place as soon as the weekend, Reading could face the former defender as soon as next month.
