Paddle-boarders wearing disco and biohazard suits, witches costumes and scream masks were spotted in the River Kennet in Reading yesterday (October 29).
Around a dozen people took to the river between 4pm and 5pm made their wat from the Jolly Anglers toward the town centre.
Among the onlookers enjoying the Halloween-themed sporting display was councillor Harry Kretchmer.
“This spook-tacular paddleboarding pageant on the Kennet was a very nice surprise on a grey Saturday afternoon before Halloween,” said the Emmer Green representative.

The Reading Chronicle reached out to paddle-boarding groups in Reading but none were available shed light on the activity.
It is unknown where the paddle-boarders came from or where they are going, but given their outfits, we can only assume the depths of hell.
