Reading boss Kelly Chambers revealed she gave her players an extra day off after picking up the first win of the season last week.
Trailing to Leicester City heading into stoppage time, two late goals produced a dramatic turnaround to give the Royals their first points of the season.
The Foxes remain pointless, adding to the tight nature of the game.
Speaking on the win at the SCL Stadium, Chambers admitted it was a needed win.

"It has just been a weight off everybody’s shoulders," she admitted. "They’ve come in really focused. I gave them an extra day off this week, so they’ve been working hard over the last couple of days and we’re going into a tough game at the weekend.
"Within 30 seconds of scoring the first goal we were having discussions in the technical area. I felt we were on top for that period, so we just got the girls and said, ‘let’s go for it.’ It just paid off. We changed shape to try and get back into the game and it benefitted. A little bit of magic from Rowey [Rachel Rowe] helps as well."

Facing a different test this week, Manchester City come to Berkshire looking to make it four straight wins.
"They’ve started to settle as a group and find their feet. We know what we’re going to face at the weekend, City don’t really change their style of play. They trust their processes and the way they play so we’ve just made sure we’ve prepared for that. They’ve got magnificent players in that side and as much as they’ve lost and they’re in a transitional season, I think they’ve found their feet as a team and they’re starting to click a bit. You can see that in their results and performances in recent weeks."
