QPR are set to name Neil Critchley as their new manager, reports suggest.
The R's have been without a boss for a number of weeks after Michael Beale walked out to take over at Glasgow Rangers.
Critchley, formerly of Blackpool, did a similar thing to Beale as he took up the offer of joining the backroom staff of Steven Gerrard's at Aston Villa in the Premier League.
However, Gerrard was sacked in favour of Unai Emery, and Critchley left with the Liverpool and England legend.
According to Football League World and TalkSport, Critchley could be confirmed as soon as tomorrow.
The West London outfit sit sixth in the Championship, two points clear of Reading.
Beale's Rangers won 2-1 at Loftus Road earlier in the campaign, and visit the SCL Stadium next month as the fixtures return from a four-week World Cup break.
Critchley, formerly a youth coach with Liverpool, won promotion to the Championship with Blackpool.
They did the double over the Royals last campaign.
