A VIOLENT attack broke out in the town centre last Saturday leaving a woman with multiple stomach injuries.

Thames Valley Police were called to reports of a fight outside the Christmas shop in Broad Street at about 6pm.

The attack happened on Saturday, December 3, when a woman was 'dragged out of the shop' and kicked in the stomach multiple times by another woman.

The incident left the 38-year-old woman with bruising.

Police describe the offender as a woman with a big build, long dark hair, and was wearing a light blue tracksuit with silver stars on it.

Investigating officer Reemsha Raza said: “This was a violent incident which happened in front of a number of other people.
