Norwich City interim boss Allan Russell has laid down a marker ahead of their clash with Reading, stating the Canaries 'should be winning these games.'
The Royals sit level on points with the Norfolk-based outfit, albeit three places lower in the Championship table.
After a run of three defeats in four matches, former Brentford and Aston Villa manager was removed from his post earlier in the week.
42-year-old Russell, who formerly worked with Gareth Southgate in the England set-up, is interim until a permanent successor is appointed.

Speaking ahead of the clash with Paul Ince's side tomorrow, Russell said: "This is Norwich City. We should be winning these games."
With three wins in four, the Royals are in high spirits after a 2-1 vicotry over Swansea City on Tuesday.
Praising the unexpected play-off challengers, Russell added: "Reading will be a big challenge, they are a well organised team, but we've got a good group of players here."
The first of two back-to-back away matches, Reading have a trip to in-form West Brom on Monday, January 2.
