Midfielder Massimo Luongo, who spent a period of the summer on trial with Reading, has linked up with League One high-flyers Ipswich Town.
The Australian midfielder was one of many who spent time at Bearwood in the close period, although he was not taken to St George's Park for the training camp.
Joining Chris Wilder at Middlesbrough instead, the former Sheffield Wednesday favourite suffered with injuries and left the Riverside without making an appearance.
As alluded to elsewhere, the Reading Chronicle understand that Massimo Luongo is one of the trialists currently at Reading. Nothing more to report on the matter as of yet, but he is being looked at.#readingfc

The 30-year-old, who was a regular for the likes of Swindon Town, QPR and the Owls, has linked up with former club Ipswich on a deal until the end of the season.
Playing 11 times on loan in 2012, the Aussie captain arrives back at Portman Road with the Tractor Boys third in the third tier and in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

"It’s been 10 years or so since I was here before and it’s great to be back," said Luongo.
"I want to be in a team that’s doing well and I think that this is a good opportunity here. I’m delighted to get the deal done and now I’m focused on helping the team get promotion."
