Thames Valley Police have opened an investigation following jibes made on social media about former Queens Park Rangers academy star Kiyan Prince.
Prince, just 15 at the time, was a talent with the West London outfit but was stabbed in 2006 after getting into an altercation with another boy while trying to break up a fight..
He left a huge impact on the R's community, and the stadium- traditionally known as Loftus Road- was named the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium from 2019 until 2022.
Reading hosted QPR on Saturday, giving up a two goal lead and drawing 2-2 at the SCL Stadium.
