Former Reading physio Jon Fearn has linked up with former Royal colleagues at specialist rehab centre, Go Perform.
Fronted by former Head of Sports Medicine, Luke Anthony, and Lead Soft Tissue Therapist, Dan Buchanan, Go Perform has been at the forefront of rehabilitation in the town since 2017.
Recently moving into new premises, the specialist centre now boasts a 4G Astro area, extended running tracks, a mezzanine, treatment rooms and changing areas.
Fearn, who spent eight years with Reading in the early 2000s, has been with European giants Chelsea since 2010.
On a statement from social media, the company say: "We are delighted to announce that Jon Fearn will be joining our Physiotherapy team in February.
"Jon has had a remarkable 25-year career working in elite football with some of the world’s top athletes.
"Over 13 years at Chelsea FC he was part of the 1st team staff that won the Champions League twice, Premier League three times, and numerous trophies.
"Prior to this he spent 9 years at Reading FC and 4 years at West Ham Utd. Whilst at Reading FC he developed a medical department that saw the club through the most successful period in its history as they rose from League 1 to the Premier League.
"Jon specialises in working with elite athletes and with those recovering from injury and surgery. He will be offering extended appointments and assessments including the Pro Athlete assessment.
"We are excited to have him join our interdisciplinary team."
