Update: Virgin Media has now resolved any user issues.

Users of Virgin Media are reporting that the service is currently down. 

With over 1,500 reports of an outage on the website DownDetector, people have been sharing that they have no internet. 

Many users of Virign have taken to Twitter to share their issues with the outage, with one customer sharing: "Virgin Media internet keeps going down. Sort your services out."

Whilst another wrote: "Of all the time's wifi decides to go down, it's right now when I started playing Valorant. Do I take this as a sign of Virgin Media?"

Another user wrote: "And now I'm sitting here not being able to do my job because the internet has gone down again!"

Is Virgin Media Down?

The company has around 6.1 million broadband customers but currently, 81% of complaints are down to internet issues. 

Another 13% are reposting that there is a total blackout and 5% saying they are having problems with their TV streaming. 

A Virgin Media spokesperson said: “We apologise for the brief issues accessing some gaming services this afternoon. This has now been fully fixed, all other services were unaffected and are working as usual.”
