These pictures show the extent of the traffic caused by the temporary traffic lights on London Road.
Network Rail warned drivers over the weekend of its upcoming works to a railway bridge on the line between Reading and Wokingham.
As such, temporary traffic lights were installed on London Road yesterday Monday, February 13, causing mayhem for drivers.

And it's not good news as the temporary lights are expected to be in place until May.
Now, these images sent to us show just how bad the traffic in the area is as a result.
London Road is already a busy route for commuters during rush-hour traffic, so having temporary lights at the roundabout caused chaos for drivers travelling in and out of Reading.
One local resident said: "The railway bridge repair work at the end of London Road in Reading (at Sutton Seeds roundabout) is creating massive delays on the way out of Reading onto the A4 and A329M!
"And this is only day one of what I believe is a 3-month programme! This is truly ridiculous!"
Another resident said: "Got caught in that today - I wanted to go up Shepherds house hill from the M4. So went to the business park followed the road around and came out at the roundabout - a neat trick if I ever make the mistake of driving that way during these road works!"
