A TEENAGER has been charged with causing unnecessary suffering to two dogs in Reading.
Toni McNamee-Boyd, 19, of Coronation Square, Tilehurst, is due to be in Reading Magistrates Court on Friday (February 24) to address the charges.
The teen has been charged with ‘causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal’ between September 16 and September 30 last year.

McNamee-Boyd allegedly failed to investigate or address the cause of two dogs’ poor bodily condition and weight loss.
The dogs in question are a namely a cream male Sharpei known as Bruce and a brown male Staffordshire Bull Terrier type dog known as Tino.
The case was due to take place last week but has been adjourned to February 24.
