A BODY has been found at a field in Berkshire but identification is yet to take place.
Thames Valley Police have confirmed that a man has been found dead at White Heart Meadow, near Theale, at about 6pm last night (Sunday, February 26).
He was found by a member of the public who subsequently reported it the police.

A large police presence was seen at the end of High Street, near the field, this morning (February 27) with the area still being taped off.
Identification of the man is still ongoing at this stage, according to police, but officers are not treating the death as suspicious at the time.
However, a post-mortem report will be carried out soon to determine the cause of death.
A statement from Thames Valley Police said: “Officers were called to White Heart Meadow, near Theale, at around 6pm on Sunday to reports of a body being found in woodland by members of the public.

“Officers attended and a man was sadly confirmed to be deceased. Work is ongoing at this stage to identify the man.
“At this time there appear to be no obvious suspicious circumstances, however a post-mortem will be conducted in due course.”
