A RESIDENTIAL road in Reading was closed this morning due to a ‘welfare incident’.
Cressingham Road, near the town centre, was closed by police at about 9am today (Tuesday, March 7).
Vehicles were unable to pass through the road due to the closure which is believed to have been in place from Northumberland Avenue to Staverton Road.

Thames Valley police have confirmed the road is now reopen after the incident was ‘safely resolved’.
A spokesperson said: "This was a fear for welfare incident involving a male, which has been safely resolved. We would not look to provide further details on this."
