A HEADTEACHER has refused entry to Ofsted inspectors following the death of Ruth Perry.
Flora Cooper, head of John Rankin School, Newbury, has refused entry to the education watchdog over the phone after Ms Perry, who was the head of Caversham Primary School, killed herself due to a negative Ofsted report.
The principal died on January 8 this year shortly after being told the Hemdean Road school was being downgraded from outstanding to inadequate.

The Ofsted inspection - the school's first in 13 years - took place on November 15 and 16 with Ms Perry allegedly telling her sister it was ‘the worst day of her life’, describing the experience as ‘dreadful’.
As a result, Ms Cooper said is ‘taking a stand’ against the Government department which has received by Ms Perry’s family stating there was a 'complete injustice' about the process behind the inspection.
Can I please get everyone here tomorrow? Would you show up?
