A MAN has avoided jail after being caught with a knuckleduster in Maidenhead.
Marco Cirpo, of Northumbria Road, Maidenhead, was sentenced to 120 hours of unpaid work and ordered to pay £114 at Slough Magistrates’ Court on March 17.
The 26-year-old was caught with a knuckleduster at his home address during a police search of July 16 last year.

He pleaded guilty to one count of possession of an offensive weapon in a private place.
Investigating officer PC Alice George, of the ‘problem solving team’ in Maidenhead, said: “We will not tolerate offensive weapons on our patch so I am pleased to see Marco Cirpo convicted and sentenced for owning a knuckleduster.”
