A TEENAGER charged with causing unnecessary suffering to two dogs in Reading will stand trial.
Toni McNamee-Boyd, 19, of Coronation Square, Tilehurst, is due to stand trial at Reading Magistrates Court this year.
The teen has been charged with ‘causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal’ between September 16 and September 30 last year.

McNamee-Boyd allegedly failed to investigate or address the cause of two dogs’ poor bodily condition and weight loss.
The dogs in question are a namely a cream male Sharpei known as Bruce and a brown male Staffordshire Bull Terrier type dog known as Tino.
The case was due to be heard earlier this month but has been adjourned twice. A trial date is yet to be set.
