Drug dealing duo who were caught red-handed have been sent to prison after officers raided the suspects home.

Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, two men have been sentenced for drug offences in Reading.

Richard Hiscock, aged 28, of Grovelands Road, Reading, pleaded guilty to one count of being concerned in the supply of a controlled class A drug – namely cocaine.

He was sentenced to two years in prison at Reading Crown Court on Monday (April 3).

At the same hearing, Paul Hedley, aged 38, of Beecham Road, Reading was sentenced to two years and six months in prison after he pleaded guilty to one count each of being concerned in the supply of a controlled class A drug and suppling a controlled class A drug – both namely cocaine.

On March, 1 this year, two officers saw the pair interacting with a group on Beecham Road.

Officers then saw an exchange between Hiscock and one of the group, and Hiscock was arrested.

A search was then conducted at an address belonging to Hedley and officers located cash and a burner phone.

On the phone were texts indicating the supply of class A drugs.
