FOUR different men were jailed after being sentenced at Reading Crown Court this week.
From breaches of restraining orders and thefts of multiple iPhones to a three decade old kidnap crime, here are four people who were jailed this week:
A Slough man who called 999 and threatened to blow up a police station before being racially abusive was jailed again for further offences.
Ranjit Dhaliwal, 41, was sentenced at Reading Crown Court on Tuesday (April 25) for breaking a restraining order in respect to his family as well as possession of a bladed article, criminal damage and a public order offence.
He was jailed for two years with the main offence being the breach of the restraining order in June last year.
Dhaliwal was previously sentenced in December 2019 at the age of 38 for threatening to blow up a police station, a house and threatened to shoot police officers on May 15, 2019.
He was given an eight-week sentence suspended for six months after being charged with one count of sending by public communication network an offence/indecent/obscene or menacing message.

Two men was jailed for stealing 10 iPhones from an Apple Store in Reading.
Antonio Ana, 19, and Laurentiu Pirvu, 21, were also sentenced for stealing a further 11 iPhones from an Apple store in Cambridge two days later.
The pair, both of Elgin Road, Southampton, had travelled to Reading on December 6 last year and carried out the theft at the store inside The Oracle shopping centre.
They were sentenced to nine months and eight months imprisonment respectively for both thefts. Ana had an additional charge of battery for kicking a security guard at the Reading store when they were stealing the phones.

An elderly man was jailed for kidnapping and sexually assaulting a toddler in Bracknell in 1986.
Robert Frid, 77, was jailed at Reading Crown Court yesterday (April 24), 36 years after the crime was committed.
The man, of no fixed abode, kidnapped a three-year-old girl who was playing outside with friends and drover off with her in his VW Camper Van.

He then indecently assaulted her before asking her to leave the vehicle. The girl was left alone and later found by a member of public and taken home.
Frid was linked to the crime when his DNA was found on the victim’s underwear. He pleaded guilty to kidnap and indecent assault and was jailed for 10 years.
