A BABY llama has been named in honour of King Charles after the University of Reading community put it to a vote.
The baby llama has been named Chaz, to honour the recent coronation of King Charles.
Staff, students and friends of the University of Reading were asked to vote for the baby’s name.
Voters were given the option of Chaz, Charles and Charlie. Nearly 2000 votes were cast and Chaz was the clear winner with 52% of the votes.
Charlie received 35% of the votes and Charles got 13%.
Chaz was born on Friday, April 14 at one of the University of Reading's farms.
