A TRIAL date has been set after a young man denied raping a woman in Reading.
Craig Chadwick appeared in Reading Crown Court on May 5 to be arraigned and to prep for trial.
The 23-year-old has been charged with the offence which allegedly occurred on September 12, 2021.

He will now appear back in the same court for trial next year on January 2, 2024.
Chadwick will remain on unconditional bail until the next hearing but has been ordered not to contact the complainant, who cannot be named for legal reason, during this time.
Multiple hearings will take place before the trial to prepare for the proceedings.
