TRAIN lines were blocked yesterday after a fatality took place near Reading Train Station.
The incident at Pangbourne station at about 5.30pm (May 16) and lines between Didcot and London Paddington were blocked until 8pm.
Sadly, a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Great Western Railway (GWR) updated passengers as emergency services attended the scene.

A commuter who was travelling to Bath was evacuated from the train when it reached Reading due to the fatality.
A spokesperson from GWR said: "Officers were called to the line near Pangbourne station at 5.26pm on 16 May to reports of a casualty on the tracks.
"Paramedics also attended, and sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
"This incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
