A DRUG driver was arrested for five offences after police raid found cocaine, just a month after causing a collision.

Thames Valley Police stopped a BMW in Thatcham on Wednesday (May 17) because the driver was recognised to be disqualified, following a drug driving collision last month.

A car raid found cocaine in a scratch card in the driver’s wallet and more in the vehicle.

He also tested positive for driving under the influence of cocaine and cannabis.

The driver was arrested for five offences, and he had a blood sample taken to see if he was over the limit again.

The BMW was also seized at the scene.

Via a social media post, TVP Roads Policing said: “They now have a nervous wait for the results and possible custodial sentence should he come back over the limit again, given he was banned so recently and has continued to do the same with little to no regard for anyone else.”
