A NEWBURY man has been jailed after being caught with a knuckle duster in a public place.
Darren Brown, of Northway, Newbury, was caught on April 19 this year with a knuckle duster in Market Street.
The 43-year-old was charged wit one count of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place without lawful authority or reasonable excuse.

He was jailed for 22 weeks and an order was made to for the weapon to be seized.
There was also an order for a £154 victim surcharge. He will need to pay in full by March 1, 2024.
