Families across Woodley will be unable to access the play area within Woodford Park in June following health and safety concerns.
Woodley Town Council have announced that between June 5 and June 11, sections of the play park containing climbing equipment will be fenced off.
This is due to the health and safety reasons on the run-up to Woodley Carnival which takes place on Saturday, June 10.
The town council have confirmed that all areas will reopen again on Monday, June 12 and thank all park users for their understanding.
Woodley Carnival is expected to draw hundreds of people to the area and can often make the play park a hazard when over-crowded
