HUNDREDS of residents have hit out after a viral Tik Toker reviewed Reading town calling it 'boring'.
A popular TikToker, known for satirical videos that review towns, took to Reading to find out why it made it on the 'worst places to live' list twice.
Posting on the social media platform, @Philc84, often tears UK towns apart by reviewing the worst things about them.
He opened: "Here's a guide to Reading. It's a town, a really boring one. It's so bad it hasn't made it onto the list of the 50 worst places to live once, it's done it twice", as he shows Reading being listed twice at number 12 and 21.
The video then shows various "normal" things about Reading including its charity shops, gyms, hairdressers and food delivery drivers.

Phil concludes the video by saying: "To me, Reading doesn't seem that bad. It seems nice".
He was then approached by a resident who told him Reading is the worst place he has ever lived.
Hundreds of Reading residents have been quick to share their opinions on the TikTok review.
Many have defended the town with several people stating that they are proud to be “born and raised in Reading”.
One resident added: “It’s not perfect but I love it. One of the few places in the country that’s so diverse and for the most part everyone gets on well.”
Rob James agreed saying “it isn't perfect but there are a hell of a lot worse places to live.”
Christopher Broadhurst added: “Lived in Reading for almost two years and honestly don’t see the problem. It’s basically the same as most towns in the UK but with a nicer shopping centre and riverside.”
Louise James said Reading “feels like home.”
Other residents were keen to compare Reading to other UK towns, with one commenting: “I moved to Reading from Woking, Surrey. Reading is way better than there. Lived in London. Reading is the same as all big towns. Some good some bad.”
Christian Pithers added: “Lived in Reading, Slough, Kilmarnock, Bracknell and Swindon. Reading most certainly was the best of the lot”, before calling Slough a “third world place”.
Commenting on the Reading Chronicle’s article, several residents claimed that it is the people that make a town what it is.
Scott James said: “Miserable people are miserable wherever they are and whatever they're doing. I've lived in many places, reading's easily one of my favourite places to have been.”
Carol Marlow agreed saying “no-one will ever be pleased with everything. We are a moaning whinging country.”
The general consensus of residents regarding the viral review is that Reading is “not that bad”.
