A PICTURESQUE town near Reading was voted one of the most desirable places to live, according to The Telegraph.
Henley-on-Thames ranked 17th on The Telegraph's 2023 'Most desirable to live' list.
In new research commissioned by The Telegraph, towns were ranked using several key factors including state of health, cost of homes, the jobs people living there have and qualifications they hold.
Estate agents Savills were tasked with putting together the list, using the latest data from the most recent census.
Berkshire has several desirable towns, as North Ascot, Wokingham, Crowthorne, Windsor and Maidenhead made it on the list.
Henley-on-Thames was voted in as it is a historic riverside town set in a stunning natural landscape.
It is a town and civil parish on the River Thames, nine miles northeast of Reading, near the tripoint of Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.
Best known for its annual Royal Regatta, Henley attracts some of the world's finest rowers to its popular event.
