MULTIPLE people have appeared in courts across Reading the week to be sentenced, to stand trial, to be arraigned and more.
Here are some of the people jailed this week:

A PROLIFIC burglar has been jailed for over two years after being caught stealing from four homes and then absconding from court.
Aaron Coaker, 40, was charged with four counts of burglary between October 18 and 23 last year and one count of burglary from a shop on May 5 this year.
The 40-year-old was arrested following the first four thefts but then failed to show up at Reading Magistrates Court on January 10.

He was caught four months later stealing from a store in Reading and was arrested.
Coaker, of Belmont Read, Reading, was sentenced on Tuesday (June 20) at Reading Crown Court to 26 months imprisonment.

A MAN has been jailed after punching and kicking a shopper before stealing his phone in Reading.
Darius Ellis, of Belmont Road, Reading, was sentenced at Reading Crown Court on Tuesday (June 20) after stealing a mobile phone to an unknown value from Zaheer Ahmed in Oxford Road.

The incident, which was caught on CCTV, happened outside Best Food and Wine store on February 14 this year.
Ellis, 43, was jailed for 36 months.

TEARS filled the courtroom after three Reading men were sent to a young offenders’ institute for multiple offences of theft.
Fraser Banham, 19, Kieron Evans, 23, and Armani Robbins, 20, were sentenced at Reading Crown Court on Monday (June 19) for varying counts of theft as well as counts of conspiracy to commit thefts across Berkshire, Oxfordshire and in Bristol.
There also charges of harassment, battery and attempted battery.

Banham, of Aveley Walk, Reading, was sentenced to 28 months in a young offenders’ institute. He had 10 counts of theft, four counts of burglary, one count of attempted theft, one count of attempted burglary and one count of common assault.
Evans, of Newton Road, Newbury, was sentenced to 28 months in a young offenders’ institute. He had four counts of theft, four counts of burglary and one count of attempted theft of a motor vehicle.
Robbins, of Amity Street, Reading, was the only defendant not in custody and appeared in the dock. Judge Campbell considered whether his sentence could be sentenced but argued that due to the seriousness of the offending, a custodial sentence was appropriate.

A MAN has been jailed after punching his neighbour and threatening his family with a BB gun after accusing him of ‘spreading rumours’.
Stuart Gale, of Roundfield in Upper Bucklebury, Reading, was sentenced at Reading Crown Court on Tuesday (June 20) after punching his neighbour, Mark Dollin, in the face, accusing him of spreading ‘s*** down the pub’ about him.
The 41-year-old also threatened the Dollin family with a black BB handgun after breaking their Ring doorbell camera and garden gate.

He was charged with criminal damage, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, common assault and possession of an imitation weapon with intent to cause fear of violence.
The 41-year-old was jailed for 22 months for the incident which occurred on May 10 this year.
