A PUB in Shinfield has reopened after a £300,000 makeover.
The Six Bells received the makeover by Greene King Pub Partners and as part of its transformation, the pub will now begin serving a Sunday Roast and cocktails.
It will also feature an all-new dedicated sports area, private hire space and upgraded beer garden.

The pub will continue to be operated by licensees Sachin Singh and Sunil Sharma, who have run the business since 2018.
Green King Pub Partners invested in order to expand the pubs trading space and upgrade its facilities, enabling it to host pub goers for any occasion they wish, including for private hire events, lunch and dinner, socialising over drinks or to watch the sport.
Alongside this, the outside seating area of the pub has been expanded with a new, high specification pavement, doubling the outside seating capacity at the pub from 100 spaces to 200 spaces.
The pub’s beer garden has also been re-turfed with additional seating and a play area for children.

Inside, the whole interior of The Six Bells has been refurbished, with all new seating, tables and lighting enhanced by a new layout to further increase the pubs capacity.
A new dedicated sports area has also been incorporated into the pub as part of its new layout.
To make full use of the increased space at the pub, publicans Mr Singh and Ms Sharma will be introducing all new events and theme nights at the pub, including a Bollywood night and a regular quiz night.
Mr Singh and Ms Sharma said: “This is a really exciting time for us and the local community of Shinfield. We will continue to serve our great North Indian food and beer as we are known for. But we will also be expanding our hospitality to include Sunday Roasts, cocktails and an improved experience for watching the sport.
“We now also have a private hire venue space for community events, weddings, birthday parties and more. Our expanded and upgraded beer garden also means we are the perfect place to enjoy a drink in the sun this summer.”
“We look forward to welcoming both our regulars and new customers back to our new look pub.”

Graeme Marley, business development manager for Greene King Pub Partners, said: “I am delighted with our £300,000 investment in The Six Bells, which is also an investment in Sachin, Sunil and their team who have successfully operated this pub for the last five years.
“The significant upgrades to the pub mean it is a really exciting time for the local community.”
