Organisors at Reading Festival has announced that an established local band will be featured at this year’s festival.
The event, which will take place between August 25 to August 27 has announced their full line-up playing at the 2023 festival in both Reading and Leeds.
This includes Woodley-born band, ‘Only The Poets’ who begun their career at Reading Festival when the BBC picked them up.
Only The Poets released a Tweet on their social media page announcing the news to their fans.

They said: “READING! We’re coming home!! OTP only exists because of this festival, thankyou @bbcintroducing for picking us, can’t wait man!!”
The band have said that they will be playing at Reading Festival on Saturday and Leeds Festival on Sunday on the BBC Music Introducing stage.
Only The Poets started in their garage in Woodley and have since risen to success after years of hard work.
They recently joined Lewis Capaldi on his European tour as one of the chart-topping stars supporting artists.
