A COFFEE company will be visiting Reading as part of its sampling campaign, giving away 100,000 free iced coffees.

Jimmy’s Iced Coffee has announced its summer sampling campaign which involves giving away 100,000 free coffees in towns across the UK.

Delivered by three electric refrigerated tricycles, Jimmy’s will be giving away free drinks to Reading residents on August 30 and September 1.

Jimmy’s Iced Coffee co-founder, Jim, said: “We cannot wait to tour again this summer. We started as a tiny company 12 years ago, sampling products out of cool boxes and this summer, we’re stepping it up with our electric refrigerated tricycles.

“We still believe in the power of connecting with our customers and bringing a smile to their faces and that’s exactly what this sampling campaign is all about.”

The nationwide tour will also be visiting Bournemouth, Brighton, Cambridge and Edinburgh.

By hitting the streets with their “eye-catching electric refrigerated tricycles”, Jimmy's Iced Coffee aims to create “memorable moments and spread joy” across the UK.

Jimmy’s Iced Coffee was founded after Jim Cregan’s “lightbulb moment” after a trip to Australia.

Jim offered taste tests in his sister Suze’s café in Bournemouth, which resulted in the founding of the, now, nationwide coffee brand.
