A West Berkshire arts centre has released it’s Summer programme of activities to keep the kids entertained and occupied this August.
From sea-themed parties to space art exhibitions, the Corn Exchange Newbury and The Base, Greenham has a whole host of fun and games for all the family.
The centre has also included weekend Storytime sessions, family yoga and Tai Chi all pre-bookable in advance.
Saturday 5 August - Deep Sea Ravers, a sea-themed party suitable for all ages
Tuesday 15 August to Sunday 3 September - Museum of the Moon, an astonishing touring art installation by UK artist Luke Jerram available to view from
Tuesday 22 August - Tai Chi
Tuesday 29 and Thursday 31 August - Family Yoga
Storytime sessions running on selected weekdays and weekends.
Monday 31 July to Friday 4 August - Create and Make sessions held at the Learning Centre for children age 5 to 11. Space themed.
Tuesday 1 to Friday 4 September - Create and Make sessions held at the Learning Centre for children age 5 to 11. Under the sea themed.
Saturday 12 August at 1pm and 4pm - Corn Exchange and 101 Outdoor Arts programme, Justice in Motion will perform their spectacular physical theatre show CODE.
Incorporates trials bikes, parkour and live rap outside Riverside Community Centre in Clay Hill.
Sunday 13 August at 3pm and 6pm - Performances outside the Greenham Community Centre in The Nightingales.
Sunday 6 August - The whole family can be inspired by Kurt Jackson’s River exhibition which is running until at The Base Greenham – Under-18s enter for free!
The Corn Exchange Cinema in Newbury is also set to show a range of family blockbusters as part of the Festival of the Moon.
Films include Elemental (PG), Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken (PG) and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (PG).
Muppets from Space will be this years Family Film showing on Saturday, August 19.

Summer Art Club
The Summer Art Club is taking part this year at The Base on Greenham Business Park for budding young artists aged 6 to 11. Kids can explore different art techniques through the second half of August.
