SEVERAL people have been in Reading Crown Court this week for their hearings.
Some have been jailed, others have been found guilty of a crime.

A MAN who breached his restraining order to ‘make a fuss’ over his partners birthday has been jailed for 13 months.
Serbastian Serban was jailed after a sentence hearing on Wednesday (July 26) at Reading Crown Court for two counts of breaching a restraining order in Reading.

The court heard that the 21-year-old breached the order put in place on May 14, 2021 between November 25, 2022 and November 27, 2022 by contacting his ex-partner which he was prohibited from doing.
However, his defence barrister stated Serban had attended her property to ‘make a fuss’ over her birthday.

A PAEDOPHILE has been jailed for 17 months after he was caught making inappropriate searches on the dark web.
Michael Tatham, 45, was sentenced at Reading Crown Court on Tuesday (July 25), for three counts of making an indecent photograph/pseudo-photograph of a child and for breaching a sexual harm prevention order (SHPO).

He was caught between January 1, 2020 and May 6, 2022 with 778 indecent photographs which police found on a laptop and a USB stick.
Tatham had 155 Category A images, 123 Category B images and 500 Category C images.

TWO men have been found guilty of murdering a 21-year-old in Slough following a trial.
Kyron Lee was knocked from his bike in Earls Lane by a stolen black Golf on October 2 last year at about 8.50pm.
He was then chased into Waterman Close and stabbed with ‘machete-like’ weapons. He sadly died from ‘multiple stab wounds’.

Inside the vehicle were five men – three of which stood trial at Reading Crown Court, starting on June 1, charged with murder: Khalid Nur, 20, Fras Seedahmed, 18, of Slough and Mohammed Elgamri, 18, of Windsor.
The jury have only found two of those defendants, Nur and Elgamri, guilty of murder.
Prior to the trial starting, Yaqhub Mussa, 21, was also charged with murder. However, he pleaded guilty before the trial and will now be sentenced with Nur and Elgamri.
A provisional sentencing date of September 1 has been pencilled in.

A DAUGHTER has been jailed after selling her elderly father’s £250k home fraudulently and attempting to use the funds to buy a holiday home and car.
Jackie Ilic was jailed for 36 months at Reading Crown Court on Wednesday (July 26) after being charged with three counts of fraud by false representation.

The 55-year-old abused the trust of her father, Arthur Green, who was in Larchfield House care home in Maidenhead, diagnosed with dementia at the time of the incident.
