The following cases were heard at Reading or Slough Magistrates’ Courts.

March 13 to 17

KIERAN KENTON, 20, of no fixed abode, indicated guilty to four counts of criminal damage. On December 31, 2022 in Bracknell, he damage ceiling panels to an unknown value belonging to Look Ahead Care Support, Holly House. On December 24, he damaged walls, window sills and furniture in the same building, on December 5 he damaged a door in the same building and on December 28 he damaged walls, ceilings and a door in the same building. He was given a community order to complete 20 days of rehabilitation activity and is excluded from entering the building for six months.

MOHAMMED CHOWDHURY, 23, of Egham Crescent, Sutton, pleaded guilty to drug driving in Winnersh on October 23, 2022. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £461. There were also court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £184.

JOSEPH HIGHWOOD, 35, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to three counts of theft. On January 28, he stole £150 worth of perfumes from Camp Hopson, on February 22 he stole bacon sandwiches belonging to Pret A Manger, and on January 3 he stole £124 of perfumes from Camp Hopson. He was ordered to complete 28 days of rehabilitation activity, 180 hours of unpaid work, and pay £114 in compensation.

SOHAIL RAJA, 46, of Guinions Road, High Wycombe, indicated guilty to making off without paying for a quantity of diesel in Bracknell on February 24. He was given a period of conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay £73.10 in compensation. There were also court costs of £40.

SAMUEL BOULTER, 31, of Merchants Court, Newbury, pleaded guilty to drink driving in Newbury on February 25 with 70 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He was disqualified from driving for 38 months, reduced by 38 weeks, and fined £461. There were also court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £184.

WAYNE PONTIN, 38, of Narshgrove Lane, Finchampstead, was found guilty of failing to provide a specimen of blood for analysis on October 9 in Wokingham. He was fined £778 and was disqualified from driving for 14 months, reduced by 14 weeks. There were also court costs of £750 and a victim surcharge of £155.

MICHAEL BUTLER, 34, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty of two counts of thefts. On March 11 he stole £500 of makeup and cosmetic items from Marks and Spencer in Broad Street, Reading and on March 14 he stole cash belonging to someone else. He was jailed for 12 weeks and ordered to pay £162 in compensation. There was also court costs of £85.

JADE ROBERTS, 32, of St Johns Road, Sandhurst, Bracknell, pleaded guilty to stealing £130 from her employer between June 4, 2022 and June 22, 2022 in Ascot. She was ordered to pay £120 in compensation and attended 12 months of a drug treatment programme.

KAPO KAPAJ, 38, of Thirlmere Avenue, Tilehurst, pleaded guilty to driving without third-party insurance and without a licence on December 30, 2022. He was fined £120 and disqualified from driving for nine months. His driving record was also endorsed with eight penalty points.
